Welcome to Year 3/4!
Our class teacher is Miss Hayward, and we are lucky to have Mrs Jefferies working with us as well. Keep visiting our page to find out what we have been learning about.
As part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, KS2 will be looking at life in Britain since the 1950's over the next term. Each class will look at a particular decade and Year 3/4 have decided to look at the 1960's.
We have been having fun learning about the 1960s and to mark the end of this topic we will be having a 1960s fancy dress day on the last day of term.
Children may dress up in fashion inspired by the 1960s. There are some links at the bottom of this page for ideas.

School Council Representatives
- Our tuck day is on Tuesday. Children may bring in money to buy a healthy snack. Each item costs 30p and children may buy up to two items.
- All children should have a pair of daps or alternative shoes that are only worn indoors.
- Children are expected to read at least three times a week at home and reading records should be signed by an adult. Children are given a book from a key stage set to read at home and so children need to look after their book and bring it to school each day.
- Our P.E day is Wednesday. Children should have a school P.E kit which should remain in school all term. The kit should include a school tracksuit, white t-shirt and black or blue shorts. Children should also have a pair of trainers for outside P.E lessons. Children will be reminded to take their kit home at half term to be washed.
After a class vote, it was announced that Will and Sophie-Leigh are our school council representatives. They will attend meetings and be involved in making important decisions around the school.
