South West Dance Championships 18.3.18
Congratulations to all our fantastic dancers who competed in a South West Championship competition just before the Easter Holidays. As you can see from the photos below, they achieved great success in various types of dance such as: rock n roll, trios, pairs and slow dance.
Sport Relief 2018
Well done to Ebonie, Shira, Stylian, Kaiden, Jackie and Harry for representing Seven Fields in the Swindon Schools relay on Thursday 22nd March. They had to run to Abbeymeads Primary School from Seven Fields in the morning, followed by a 1 mile run around the County Ground athletics track in the afternoon. They were all fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Latest news: Sports Leaders and Sports Council.
Congratulations to our new Year 5 and 6 Sports leaders on completing their Sports Leaders UK award. They are all really excited to help organise activities for the whole school to enjoy in the Summer term.
The Sports Leaders have also been invited to form our new Sports Council who will be helping to organise Sports Day, intra competitions and much more in the new future.

Athlete Day Update- February 2018

Sports for Schools Athlete Event- Monday 22nd January.
Well done to everyone who took part in the sponsored fitness circuit with Cassie and Jack. It was a great morning and we really enjoyed listening to Cassie's story about winning her bronze medal at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. We were also really shocked to hear about her encounters with jellyfish in Australia when she competed in a 10km open water race.
Make sure your sponsorship money is handed in by Monday 29th January so we can buy some new and exciting sport and PE equipment.
Swindon Schools 5 a side Football Festival for Year 3 and 4.
Congratulations to the boys in Year 3 and 4 who represented the school in the Swindon Schools 5 a side football festival on Friday 19th January.
The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were proud of the goals they had scored within their matches.
Well done: Christopher, Louie, Aiden, Rhys, Sampson, Bailey and Archie.
Cross Country Competition 4th October 2017
Congratulations to the following children who represented Seven Fields at the Cross County competition at Lydiard Park Academy. They were all fantastic and should be very proud of themselves.

We are currently in the process of purchasing new equipment for both PE and playtimes.
Well done to Marci, Harry, Courtney, Owen and Alexis who competed again last weekend in another Dance competition.
Successes included: 1st place in the team event for everyone and Courtney achieved 1st place in Slow and Solo dance. Congratulations to all of you. We are looking forward to seeing some of your dancing hopefully next term.

Swindon Schools Dance Festival Monday 30th January.
The children who attend Street Dance Club on a Monday will be taking part in the Swindon Schools Dance Festival on Monday 30th January.
The performance is from 3 - 4.30pm at the Wyvern Theatre.
Children are wearing black leggings or joggers and a black t-shirt.
I have attached a copy of the dance moves so children can practice at home.

Road to Rio update: 1195.64 miles (22.7.16)
We have won a free day of Sport for running the furthest out of 20 other Swindon Schools!
We have managed to run this far by everyone in KS1 and KS2 trying to do the Golden Mile as many times as possible each week and recording their laps.
Thank you to everyone who has collected the Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers.
We had an amazing total of 1190 vouchers.
Orienteering Event- Tuesday 21st June.
Well done to Joshua, Sophie, Kieron, Isabel, Abbey, Courtney, Alfie, Sean, Rose and Chantelle, who took part in an Orienteering event at Lydiard Park. Our winning pair were: Isabel and Kieron with a time of 12 minutes and 37 seconds, which was amazing.
Congratulations to Mike, Connor and John who were selected for the Swindon Schools Football Representative Trials on Monday 20th June. We are just waiting to here if they have made it through to the next round. Well done boys!

Swindon School Girls Cricket Competition 27th May 2016
A fantastic result for our Year 5/6 Girls Cricket team, who finished an impressive 3rd out of 9 teams. They all worked really hard in training to improve their batting, bowling and fielding skills and worked together as a team on the day. Mr Pike said we just need to work on the accuracy of our bowling as we did give away a few runs to the other teams with wide balls.

Swindon Schools Gymnastics Competition 28th April 2016
Well done to our Year 5/6 team who finished 3rd in the competition and to our Year 3/4 team who finished a fantastic 5th out of 17 schools.
We are all very proud of them.

Seven Fields won 3-2 against St Mary's on Friday 29th April
Seven Fields lost 5-1 against Robert Le Kyng on Wednesday 4th May.
A huge well done to Alexis in Year 4 who competed in a Dance competition at the weekend in Chippenham.
She came 1st in her Solo routine, 2nd in the team event and 3rd in her doubles routine.
